About the work
I specialize in:
Creating strengths based relationships built on kindness, appreciation, honesty, pleasure, personal growth, accountability, and loving support.
Championing sexual health and a pleasure filled life that is unique to the individual and relationship
Getting couples off to a strong start- whether that be marriage or moving in together
Learning and growing from past relationships and heart break
I will help you discover the patterns that you and your partner get stuck in and ways to break those cycles. Along with awareness, you will set goals and practice new skills to replace the patterns that no longer serve you.
Who do I work with:
All genders and sexual identities
All racial and ethnic backgrounds
Monogamous and consensual non-monogamous relationships
Single and dating individuals
As a white cisgendered heterosexual woman, I continually learn and do my own work to thoughtfully serve those who are marginalized.
About Mallory
Relationships are my passion! I began studying people, relationships, and health at Indiana University (IU) where I received an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Masters in Public Health. At IU, I worked at the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. After receiving my masters degree, I moved to Oregon and worked in local and state public health for over a decade.
I decided to turn my passion into a career and became a Thriving Relationship Coach through the Center for Thriving Relationships. I have been trained in The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy with Ellyn Bader and Assessing & Training Sex Issues in Psychotherapy with Martha Kauppi. I am influenced by the work of Esther Perel, Gottman Institute and attachment theory. My strengths-based approach is rooted in science and infused with mindfulness and humor.
